Brand «Akon»

Aliaune Badara Thiam, known to many by his stage name Akon, was born on April 30, 1973 in the USA, into the family of Mor Thiam, a jazz percussionist. Almost immediately after his birth, the Thiam family returned to Senegal, their historical homeland. Akon lived there until the age of seven, often visiting the USA with his father. The Thiams finally decided to settle in the USA when Akon was 15 years old. They lived in New Jersey.

Akon is a Senegalese-American R&B singer, composer and music producer. His first label was Akon Konvict. The first fragrance from hip-hop singer Akon, available in both men's and women's versions, was released in 2010. Named after the singer's first album, this youthful perfume collection was called Konvict, while the line for mature men was named Aliaune. The cover of the released disc depicts hands in handcuffs, so, in line with the concept, a suitable bottle design was chosen. The fragrances are intended mainly for residents of big cities.
