Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Koke'e is built as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Malie Organics is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

From the first breath you detect crisp leafy top note: Green Chord. This single 1 note sets morning coolness sensation that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the central layer you notice Jasmine and Lily of the Valley holding a creamy tuberose direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet, Floral and Amber without random overlap. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Green, Whiteflower, Ambery and Balsamic. It also reaches into Spicy, Floral and Earthy / Mossy. At family level the composition sits in Floral and Green.

Overall Koke'e reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance came to me as a decant, even though I actually wanted something else, but it felt awkward to ask. Lilies of the valley are here, but they're not at all what I expected. There's something intricate about it, complex notes of resin and bitterness create a feeling of something alien 😕
