Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Chypre Essentiel unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Acorelle is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

In the first seconds you meet cardamom-peppery top notes: Coriander and Lemon. These 2 notes form warm spicy pulse that anchors the first impression immediately.

At the core of development you notice Cardamom, Geranium, Rose and ylang-ylang holding a harmonious floral direction. In the final layer the composition is fixed through Patchouli, Vanilla and Vetiver, extending a deep woody trail.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Spicy, Citrus, Floral and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Wood and Gourmet. At family level the scent maps to Chypre and Wood.

Overall Chypre Essentiel reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. This fragrance turned out to be challenging for me. The scent here is quite different, rich and not simple. The spices are beautiful, but they're not soft; they have character and are even a bit bold. There's a lot of geranium, and honestly, I'm not a fan of that component. Overall, the fragrance is curious, but not for me
