Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

Right at the start you catch radiant jasmine top notes: Lily of the Valley and Violet leaf. These 2 notes build floral tenderness that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the middle phase you meet Gardenia and Virginian Cedar carrying a creamy tuberose direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Floral, Wood and Amber with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms High indicates a stable lasting impression.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Green, Wood, Whiteflower and Ambery. It also reaches into Floral and Earthy / Mossy.

The fragrance is really interesting. At first, you can smell woody alcohol, but then it softens thanks to powdery violet. This violet isn't sweet, but rather fresh and natural, as if it was just picked from the forest. Overall, the fragrance leaves a pleasant aftertaste ))))

Interesting name, and the combination too: "purple cedar" To be honest, I'm indifferent to cedar - I don't really like it in men's fragrances. But gardenia - that's a whole different story! I like the brand; sometimes their compositions can really surprise you)

The fragrance evokes strange associations, as if opening a jar of pickled vegetables that have been stored for too long. It doesn't delight, rather, it leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. There's no violet here, no powderiness, nor that refined woodiness one would like to feel. There's only a slight hint of decay, as if old, damp logs were lying around in a shed. The disappointment with this fragrance is great, as I expected something cozier and warmer, like a violet in a wooden house

The fragrances from this brand are simply amazing, there's something special and exquisite about them. The new Peony didn't impress me, but this particular scent really caught my attention. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to it as with Peony 🤞
