Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Curious is shaped as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Aftelier is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract supports the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Sweet, Citrus, Green and Mineral. The framework further includes Wood, Floral, Whiteflower and Musk. At family level the fragrance belongs to Floral, Musk and Wood.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a architectural woody mood: Hay, Orange, Orange leaf, Smoke, Tobacco and Woody Accord.

The deeper layers are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus and Wood forming a compact and readable structure.

Taken together Curious reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced through real development.
