Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Rio evolves as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Al-Rehab is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Oil-based perfume supports the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Ambery, Whiteflower, Wood and Gourmet. At family level the fragrance belongs to East.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a noble cedar mood: Ambergris, Jasmine, Oud and Sandalwood.

The inner phases are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Floral, Wood and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Rio holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The jasmine here just explodes, while the oud seems to hide in the shadows. It's not in the foreground, but the jasmine, on the other hand, fills everything around. So sweet and oily, you can even feel the indolic notes, especially if you apply a bit more 🌸
