Fragrance information:

Homme II Alexandre Marc, unveiled in 2015, sits firmly in the category of a masculine fragrance, falling within the spicy and wood families. Perfumer Alexandre Marc is the author behind this composition. The fragrance belongs to the spicy, wood, and balsamic groups. An eau de parfum — light-footed, but utterly unforgettable.

The sillage is noticeable — present, but never overpowering. The longevity is genuinely phenomenal: firmly in the very high range. The home of this fragrance is France. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Homme II evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Alexandre Marc is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Spicy, Wood and Citrus. The framework further includes Floral. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Spicy and Wood.

Right at the start you catch sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot and Nutmeg.

In the middle phase you sense Violet and White Cedar holding a opulent floral direction. At the foundation the composition is fixed through Labdanum and Vetiver, reinforcing a thick resinous trail.

The gender direction is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence Very high points to a sustained drydown presence. In diffusion Noticeable defines the projection profile in space.

Taken together Homme II holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

This fragrance is a real find! Friends gave it to my husband, and they hit the nail on the head - he likes it, and I like it even more. Usually, it's hard to please me with perfumes, but this scent amazed me. I adore slightly spicy woody notes, especially on men. It's not just ordinary, it's truly chic. And, importantly, it lasts a long time - that's also significant for me
