Description of the composition

The composition of Red is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Aliqua comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Fruit, Whiteflower and Floral. It also reaches into Ambery, Balsamic, Sweet and Gourmet.

Right at the start you detect invigorating sunny top notes: Mandarin, Pomegranate, Red Orange and Rice. These 4 notes build a burst of citrus freshness that is impossible to miss.

When the opening settles you notice Jasmine, Osmanthus, Rose and ylang-ylang carrying a sensual jasmine direction. In what remains on skin the composition is fixed through Ambergris, Benzoin, Caramel and Vanilla, extending a viscous resinous trail.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Amber and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In summary Red sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.
