Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Shakhrazada is shaped as an expressive line of development, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of alye-parusa is evident from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a airy lemon mood: Citrus accord, Clove, Rose, Sandalwood, Vanilla, musk and ylang-ylang. In this format 7 notes work as one voice, forming a burst of citrus freshness that reads as cohesive from the start.

The heart and base are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Floral and Wood. It also reaches into Gourmet, Musk and Whiteflower.

In summary Shakhrazada holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

At the end of my childhood, I stumbled upon these tiny "bricks" with dark green liquid. Mine had a white round cap. And everyone I knew had the same reaction to the scent - "what a nightmare"!
