Angeline Fruit Cake — the character and story of the fragrance

Angeline Fruit Cake is a women's fragrance from the Spanish brand Angeline, released in 2025.

The composition is presented as an Eau de Parfum and combines fruity, gourmand and woody facets.

Its name suggests an appetising character, but the fragrance unfolds as much more than simple sweetness: a bright citrus opening gradually meets spicy, dry and warm nuances.

Angeline is a Spanish perfume brand whose collection includes women's, men's and unisex fragrances.

Fruit Cake continues this idea of diversity, offering a women's release with a pronounced woody character and a gourmand accent.

The perfumer is not listed, so the creator of the composition cannot be reliably identified.

How Angeline Fruit Cake smells

The fragrance makes an impression through the contrast between freshness and warmth.

A citrus spark makes the opening feel lighter and more energetic, while a spicy nuance adds definition. The woody facet gradually shapes a calm, dimensional and elegant scent.

In the dry-down, the fragrance becomes softer, cosier and sweeter, while retaining its characteristic dry depth.

In terms of mood, Fruit Cake will appeal to those who enjoy gourmand fragrances without an overly sweet feel.

It is well suited to cool weather, daytime walks, meet-ups and cosy evenings when you want a warm, enveloping scent.

In warmer seasons, it is best applied sparingly to preserve the balance between freshness and rich base notes.

Sillage and application recommendations

Angeline Fruit Cake is described as having moderate sillage: the fragrance is noticeable within your personal space but does not try to fill the entire surroundings.

This makes it a convenient choice for everyday wear and situations where consideration and the comfort of those around you matter.

Its longevity and development may vary depending on skin type, temperature and air humidity.

The optimal amount for application to the skin is 1–2 sprays.

Start with one spray on your wrists or the inner elbows, then assess the intensity after 20–30 minutes, when the composition moves into its heart and base notes.

There is no information about the recommended amount for application to clothing, so if you wish, test the fragrance first on an inconspicuous area of fabric.

Who should try this perfume

Angeline Fruit Cake will appeal to women who enjoy combinations of citrus freshness, spicy expressiveness, soft woods and vanilla-tobacco warmth.

This is not a carefree fruity spray, but a more composed and layered Eau de Parfum with comfortable moderate sillage.

If you would like to explore fragrances in a similar direction, take a look at The Spirit of Dubai Bahar, then compare how different compositions work with warm and rich accents.

There is no information in the database about other concentrations of Angeline Fruit Cake.

It is therefore best to begin with the current Eau de Parfum version: apply it to your skin, let the composition unfold and share your impressions — it is especially interesting to see which facet becomes the dominant one on you.

Description of the composition

Angeline Fruit Cake Fragrance Notes

The top notes of Angeline Fruit Cake open with grapefruit and black pepper. The citrus accord lends the opening freshness and a subtle sparkle, while the spicy nuance adds an energetic contrast.

At the heart of the composition, sandalwood and vetiver create a smooth, slightly dry woody foundation. The base brings together tobacco and vanilla, making the dry-down warm, soft and gourmand.

Overall, the fragrance unfolds from a fresh, spicy opening to a woody heart and a comforting vanilla-and-tobacco trail.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. At first I smell pepper and sandalwood, then a woody scent remains with light sweetness. To me, this is an ordinary masculine fragrance, although it was not marketed as unisex. The name does not match what is inside at all, which is strange

I applied it with some hesitation, but I was worrying for nothing: this time I didn't notice anything too peculiar or irritating, which is often the case with Angeline. The scent is perfectly wearable. A fresh, green, woody unisex. Pepper bursts out very brightly at first, while the grapefruit is almost lost, then soft vetiver with a dry tobacco nuance joins in. It comes across restrained and rather noble. I don't smell vanilla, and that's actually for the best
