Fragrance information:

Angeline Noir Nectar — a fruity-woody fragrance

Angeline Noir Nectar is a women's eau de parfum released in 2024 by Angeline, a Spanish perfume brand that creates feminine, masculine and unisex compositions.

The name Noir Nectar, meaning “black nectar,” perfectly conveys the fragrance's mood: it combines juicy berry freshness, a soft white-floral nuance and a calm woody-musky base.

The composition belongs to the fruity and woody families, which gives it a character that is both vivid and well-structured.

This is a fragrance for women who enjoy noticeable but not overly intense perfumes with a clean, modern character and a subtle touch of mystery.

Notes and development

Angeline Noir Nectar opens with blackcurrant, which is cool, slightly tart and gently sour.

This opening quickly attracts attention without making the fragrance overly sweet, leaving the composition feeling juicy and airy.

Jasmine appears at the heart, adding femininity and a soft floral glow.

As the fragrance develops, the berry accent becomes rounder, while the white-floral facet makes the perfume elegant and comfortable for everyday wear.

Cedar and musk appear in the base. The cedar accord gives the composition a dry woody foundation, while musk smooths the transitions and creates a clean, delicately warm background.

As a result, Noir Nectar leaves a moderate trail: it is noticeable to those nearby, while retaining a sense of neatness and never filling the entire space.

Character and wearability

Angeline Noir Nectar is suitable for the office, walks, dates and relaxed evening outings.

The fruity-floral opening is especially pleasant in spring and summer, while the cedar-musky base also makes the fragrance suitable for cooler transitional weather.

It easily fits into the wardrobe of anyone who loves versatile compositions that work equally well for a daytime look or a casual date.

For application to the skin, 2 to 3 sprays are enough: on the wrists, neck or behind the ears.

2 to 3 sprays are also recommended on clothing; it is best to apply the fragrance from a short distance and check the fabric's reaction beforehand.

The intensity of the development will depend on the temperature, humidity and the individual chemistry of the skin.

Angeline's signature style

Noir Nectar reflects the modern Spanish brand's characteristic love of clear, wearable combinations.

There is no overloaded note pyramid here: blackcurrant, jasmine, cedar and musk gradually create a cohesive image that is easy to appreciate from the first encounter.

At the same time, the woody finish adds depth to the composition and keeps it from becoming a simple berry fragrance.

The perfumer who created Angeline Noir Nectar is not identified in the available information, so it is more accurate to assess the release through its olfactive structure and scent profile.

Fragrances worth considering for further exploration in a similar direction include Burberry Burberry For Women, Sergio Nero Rose Silver Violette and Gianfranco Ferre GF Ferre Bluemusk.

They may appeal to those who enjoy fruity, floral, woody and musky nuances.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

Pure blackcurrant, practically without additions. No flowers, no unnecessary perfumery frills, and I like that. The price is a bit high though, because scent-wise it's close to the same-named Brocard, this one just lasts a little longer. Woody notes appear toward the end. In the end, it's a nice tart blackcurrant bush, exactly as it should be
