Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Awakenings unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Avroy Shlain is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Floral, Ambery and Powdery. It also reaches into Musk.

In the top tier you sense sparkling citrus opening notes: Clementine, Grapefruit and Lemon.

When the opening settles you meet Floral Notes and Freesia carrying a opulent floral direction. In what remains on skin the composition is fixed through Ambergris, Powdery notes and musk, reinforcing a deep amber trail.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Powdery with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.
