Fragrance information:

The house of Azzaro gifted the world with Azzura in 1999. By character, a feminine fragrance drawing from the fruit and floral families. Perfumer Laurent Bruyère poured every ounce of mastery into this one. Offered in eau de parfum concentration.

Expect a very delicate sillage: a quiet, intimate presence. It stays on the skin for a good while — longevity is firmly in the moderate range. France is where this fragrance comes from — and it shows. Azzura Azzaro — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Azzura is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Azzaro is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. In longevity terms Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

From the first breath you meet invigorating sunny opening notes: Bergamot, Black currant leaf, Lily of the Valley and Mandarin.

In the central layer you sense Apricot, Blackcurrant, Jasmine and Rose carrying a tempting fruity direction.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Green, Whiteflower and Spicy. The palette also extends to Fruit, Floral and Gourmet.

Overall Azzura sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Extremely inconspicuous
1
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

On me, this fragrance smells terrible. Plastic citrus notes and artificial berries, plus heavy floral accents that remind me of soap

This fragrance just screams for attention, its longevity is top-notch, and the sillage it leaves is so strong you can't rest. I mainly smell this rose, it's so velvety, and the vanilla is spicy, really getting up your nose. Very intrusive and heavy, not for the faint of heart

Oh, how long I've searched for you, Azzura. My first true love in the world of perfumery. After a long time apart, finally, with a trembling heart, I received you. It's happiness, but with a slightly bitter aftertaste. The opening of the fragrance is citrusy, with a light sweetness, but then Bulgarian rose appears. It doesn't overwhelm, but gives freshness. Later, a warm musk is felt, gently enveloping, like a soft blanket. The longevity is still excellent - it lasts about two days on clothes

In the top notes of Azzura, blackcurrant is clearly felt with the addition of red berries and citrus. Lily of the valley, unfortunately, is not felt at all. In Par Amour by Clarins, the blackcurrant is calmer and more refined, while here it sounds quite bold and sometimes even intrusive. This sweet Southern girl is a bit wild, but still alluring. A good alternative to Incanto Dream, by the way, they even have the same author )
