Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Black Assam is built as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Bohdidharma is clear from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Animalistic, Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

From the first breath you meet petal-airy first note: Clove. This single 1 note forms an elegant floral wave that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the central layer you meet Patchouli keeping a structural woody direction. At the foundation the line is anchored through Civet, reinforcing a deep animalic trail.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Floral, Wood, Animals and Gourmet. At family level the composition sits in East.

Overall Black Assam holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced in wear.
