Description of the composition

The composition of Moire evolves as an expressive line of development, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Bombay Perfumery comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

Right at the start you sense crisp leafy top notes: Black currant leaf, Cardamom and Neroli. Exactly these 3 notes set morning coolness sensation that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the middle phase you meet Apricot, Jasmine Sambac and Tuberose carrying a creamy tuberose direction.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Floral, Fruit, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Leather and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Green, Spicy, Floral and Fruit. The palette also extends to Whiteflower, Musk, Leather and Wood. At family level the composition sits in East and Floral.

Taken together Moire reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.
