In 2011, Bugatti introduced Design & Motion Extreme — a fragrance that's hard to forget. A masculine fragrance belonging to the spicy, floral, and citrus families. The fragrance was crafted by perfumer Philippe Bousseton. Available as eau de toilette.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Design & Motion Extreme is shaped as an expressive line of development, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Bugatti is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms High points to a sustained drydown presence.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet cardamom-peppery opening notes: Cardamom, Grapefruit and Pink pepper.

In the heart you detect Cinnamon and Orange blossom holding a spicy-aromatic direction. In the final layer the composition is fixed through Ambergris, Leather accord and Vetiver, extending a dense amber trail.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Spicy, Citrus, Whiteflower and Ambery. The palette also extends to Leather, Wood and Floral. At family level the fragrance belongs to Citrus, Floral and Spicy.

Taken together Design & Motion Extreme reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best understood on skin.
