The Scent of Passion by Carolina Gynning

Meet Carolina Gynning – a Swedish model, artist, and TV host who released her second perfume Passion in 2010.

This is a bold statement, strikingly different from her debut fragrance Go Girl! Carolina herself admits that she has changed over the years, and her tastes have become deeper and more sensual.

Thus was born Passion – an eau de parfum with a very strong sillage, created for women who are not afraid to show their emotions.

The fragrance belongs to the oriental and spicy families – a true fireworks of passion. It captivates with its brightness from the very first seconds and doesn't let go until the very end.

Passion is not just a perfume; it is a manifesto of feminine strength and sensuality.

Pyramid and Character

The opening is a real explosion of energy: Black Pepper, Pink Pepper, sparkling Grapefruit, spicy Geranium, and sweetish Ylang-Ylang.

In the heart – enveloping Cinnamon, velvety Tuberose, sensual Jasmine, juicy Peach, and earthy Patchouli. The base is warm woody-balsamic: Benzoin, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Fir, and Resins.

This is a transformer fragrance that unfolds gradually, leaving behind a trail full of mysteries.

For Whom and How to Wear

Passion is ideal for evening outings and cold seasons. Thanks to its very strong sillage, it literally announces itself, so don't be afraid to be the center of attention.

Apply to pulse points – wrists, neck, behind the ears – and enjoy the compliments.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

When you buy Passion, be ready for it to smell completely different. From the bottle, a sharp, old-fashioned scent bursts out, which not everyone will like. I wouldn't say it's awful, but it's definitely not for everyone. On the skin, though, it unfolds into something cozy and soft, but with a dark undertone 😒 After buying it, you'll have to get used to it, and it to you too. Overall, Passion might surprise you, but not always in a good way. A beautiful oriental perfume? Maybe, but not for me

This scent is just a nightmare. No magic at all, just a really intrusive fragrance that constantly grabs everyone's attention. It's definitely not for the modest, but for those who have no idea what shame is. If you're super confident, maybe it'll work, but for normal people, it's just way too much. It's super annoying when everyone around starts gawking because of this 'witchcraft' I just don't get how anyone can wear this )

In September weather, these vintage perfumes revealed themselves to me completely differently than in the heat when I first tried them. Now they smell of honey and moss, with a light hint of dusty wormwood and a barely perceptible civet. The fragrance, undoubtedly, is impressive!!! It's strict, but there's something promising about it… Perhaps dry autumn is made just for it.))) Or vice versa)) doesn't matter)))) I don't hear the floral notes that should be in the pyramid at all. But, despite this, I can't say I'm disappointed)))✨

At first, it's sharp, then it becomes incredibly alluring and animalistic. Chic, sweetish, with honey notes and a light hint of frankincense. The name perfectly matches the scent. My husband is thrilled with it, and I can't resist it either. I'm saving it only for special occasions. It smells very expensive )

Pashyon is a truly unusual and mysterious scent, but unfortunately, it was beyond my perception. I only caught grapefruit with delicate cinnamon, the freshness of jasmine, and first a sharp, then a spicy pepper. This perfume is very mature, rich, and deep. Before buying, it's worth thoroughly testing it on yourself 🌸
