Description of the composition

The composition of Bitter Orange unfolds as a layered story, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Charlotte Rhys comes through from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Leather and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

Right at the start you detect radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Bergamot and Cinnamon.

At the core of development you notice Cedar, Tobacco and Tonka bean keeping a velvety sandalwood direction. In the base the line is anchored through Leather accord, Sandalwood, Vanilla and musk, shaping a smoky suede trail.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Wood and Leather. It also reaches into Gourmet and Musk. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Citrus, Spicy and Wood.
