Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Colonial Gold evolves as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Christopher Hanlon is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract keeps the right density and pace of development.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Green, Fruit, Floral and Citrus. The framework further includes Wood, Balsamic, Spicy and Whiteflower.

Without strict stage separation the notes arrive together with a soft-dry woody mood: Callistemon, Forest Berries, Iris, Lemon, Manuka, Myrrh and Myrtle.

The inner phases are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Fruit, Wood and Powdery expand the olfactory volume in the background.
