Fragrance information:

Clean launched Fresh Linens in 2018 — and it was a brilliant move. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the aromatic family. The talent of Claude Dir is written all over this bottle. By character, it falls into the leather, ambery, and wood groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of musk, fruit, floral, citrus, and whiteflower can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. An eau de parfum — light-footed, but utterly unforgettable.

It has a delicate sillage, staying close and personal. On clothing, 2-3 sprays are the recommended amount. Longevity is on the low side — a good excuse to refresh it throughout the day. Country of origin — the United States: no wonder the fragrance turned out this refined. Fresh Linens Clean — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Description of the composition

The composition of Fresh Linens evolves as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Clean is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

In the top tier you sense sparkling citrus top notes: Clementine and Pear.

In the heart you sense Lily, Orchid and Woody Accord keeping a silky white floral direction.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc without random overlap. Background accords such as Wood, Amber and Leather enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character. In longevity terms Low points to a sustained drydown presence.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Ambery, Citrus, Floral and Fruit. The palette also extends to Leather, Musk, Whiteflower and Wood.

In summary Fresh Linens reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence

2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent reminds me of soap, and not in a good way. Lily and musk create too sharp a combination that evokes unpleasant associations. I can't say it's a successful perfume )

The fragrance seems too light and delicate, as if it's lacking something. The citrus note with the green lily powder doesn't leave a strong impression, and the sweetness of the pear gets lost in the overall picture. The base, though substantial, doesn't save the situation. It's more of a spring scent, but it's not suitable for warm days, it's just too pale and unexpressive 😔

I agree, it really is lily-scented soap. The smell is simple and straightforward, but with a hint of bitterness. It quickly gave me a headache, and I immediately wanted to wash it off 😖
