The olfactory structure of Patchouli is built as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Crabtree & Evelyn is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a soft-dry woody mood: Patchouli. In this format 1 note acts as one integrated frame, creating clear woody framework that reads as cohesive from the start.

The inner phases are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which keeps the fragrance coherent.
