Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Bast is shaped as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Deconstructing Eden comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a resinous voluminous mood: Amber, Frankincense, Jasmine, Myrrh, Rose, Sandalwood and Spices. In this case 7 notes sound as one voice, forming enveloping resinous depth that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The inner phases are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Spicy and Mineral expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Balsamic, Whiteflower, Floral and Wood. The framework further includes Spicy and Musk.
