Description of the composition

The scent of Mercutio is shaped as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Deconstructing Eden is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a noble cedar mood: Ambergris, Black Pepper, Cedar, Cedar Needles, Clary Sage, Juniper and Lavender.

The deeper layers are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Fruit, Wood, Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Ambery, Spicy, Wood and Aromatic. It also reaches into Green, Fruit, Floral and Gourmet.

Overall Mercutio holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced in wear.
