Description of the composition

The composition of Grimalkin unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Deep Midnight Perfumes comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Gourmet, Fruit and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Vegetable, Alcoholic and Mineral enrich the profile without taking over.

When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a sweet-spicy dessert mood: Blackcurrant, Butter, Coffee, Cream, Earthy Notes, Moss and Pumpkin.

The middle and base stages are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.
