Kazehikaru joined the DI SER portfolio in 2000. A unisex fragrance rooted in the green, fern, and citrus families. Conceived and brought to life by perfumer Yasuyuki Shinohara. In eau de parfum — and that's all it takes to fall in love.

Description of the composition

The scent of Kazehikaru is built as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of DI SER is clear from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Floral, Aromatic, Wood and Citrus. It also reaches into Earthy / Mossy and Green. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Citrus, Fern and Green.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a multi-layered petal mood: Neroli, Rose, Shiso, Vetiver and Yuzu.

The deeper layers are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Kazehikaru sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.
