Description of the composition

The composition of Oeillets Rouges is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of DSH Perfumes comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a expressively spicy mood: Amber, Bergamot, Clove, Grey Ambergris, Nutmeg, Spices and Vanilla. Here 7 notes sound as one coherent layer, creating piquant dynamism that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The heart and base are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Amber and Spicy without random overlap. Background accords such as Mineral expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Animals. The palette also extends to Spicy and Gourmet.

In summary Oeillets Rouges sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best experienced on skin.
