Description of the composition

The composition of Deauville Winter evolves as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Flora Mare comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

From the first breath you sense piquant warm top notes: Black Pepper, Mandarin and Neroli. Exactly these 3 notes build piquant dynamism that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you detect Freesia, Jasmine, Orange blossom, Plum and Rose carrying a harmonious floral direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit without random overlap. Additional accords such as Musc, Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Spicy, Citrus, Floral and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Fruit, Sweet, Wood and Musk.

Overall Deauville Winter holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance reminds me of Mugler's Angel, but it's much softer and less intrusive. Patchouli and chocolate are here, although the chocolate isn't as obvious, but the sweetness with a slight bitterness of cocoa is definitely present. Plum and rose also play their part, creating a luxurious combination. The scent is quite noticeable, but unlike Angel, it's more like a little angel ✨
