The Charm of Provence: Florame Belle de Grasse

Imagine the gentle sun of Provence, endless lavender fields, and the artistry of French perfumers in love with nature.

This is how Belle de Grasse was born — Florame Belle de Grasse, launched in 2015.

It is not merely an eau de parfum, but an ode to Grasse, the capital of perfumery, expressed through a floral-fruity accord.

Since 1990, Florame has been creating organic cosmetics and fragrances inspired by the healing power of plants.

Belle de Grasse is a vivid example of this philosophy: floral, fresh, and impeccably feminine.

The fragrance unfolds naturally and delicately: its sillage is soft yet long-lasting, perfect for everyday elegance.

Belle de Grasse is equally suited to a romantic date or a cosy day spent with loved ones.

If you are looking for something with a similar mood, consider Parfums de Marly Safanad (a luxurious fruity-floral fragrance), as well as Divage Follow me! and Jeanne Arthes Love Generation Fashion Victim — they share the same playful sweetness and floral purity.

Description of the composition

The top notes offer the juicy sweetness of pear, the sunny freshness of orange, and a spicy touch of clove.

At the heart blooms a luxurious bouquet: sensual jasmine, exotic ylang-ylang, and delicate hibiscus.

The trail envelops you in warmth: velvety sandalwood and sweet vanilla create a cozy finish.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Low (1 to 2 hours)
2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Imperceptible
2
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance is too confusing for me. It smells like Wild Pears by Montale, and I just hate it. Sweet pear with clove, and heavy yellow flowers are added to that. Overall, it just feels too mature for me
