Creation and Character

Francesco Smalto Fullchoke is a bold and passionate men's fragrance, launched in 2004.

Created by legendary perfumer Pierre Bourdon, it quickly became a symbol of modern chic and inner freedom.

The Francesco Smalto brand, renowned for its Italian flair and French refinement, infused this bottle with audacity and elegance.

Who It Is For and When to Wear It

This is a men's fragrance available in an eau de toilette concentration.

Fullchoke is perfect for evenings out, whether for romantic dates, club parties, or bold everyday looks.

Its moderate sillage leaves a pleasant yet unobtrusive impression, making the composition suitable for more intimate settings as well.

Why It Is Worth Discovering

Fullchoke belongs to the spicy and woody fragrance families.

Its uniqueness lies in contrast: fresh fruity and spicy opening notes give way to a floral heart, while the base envelops the skin in warm resins, rum, and woods.

If you enjoy fragrances like this, consider similar options: Edgardio Chilini Cafeier, The Spirit of Dubai Bahar, and The Spirit of Dubai Turath.

Description of the composition

The Fullchoke composition opens with a vibrant duet of pineapple and melon, surrounded by spices: black pepper, cardamom, and coriander.

At the heart, flowers bloom—jasmine, lily of the valley, and rose—lending the fragrance an elegant character. The base is built around warm amber, rum, and teak wood, paired with vanilla, vetiver, and musk.

This composition creates a multifaceted, long-lasting fragrance that unfolds gradually, offering new impressions with every passing hour.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance definitely doesn't impress. The composition seems too simple and unoriginal. The bottle design, though stylish, doesn't save the situation. The price, of course, seems acceptable, but for that money, I expected more 😒

This fragrance really fills you with positivity and joy! I really loved it. I've heard opinions that Fullchoke Francesco Smalto smells like gunpowder, and maybe that comparison is valid, but I would never have guessed it myself. In some notes, it sometimes reminds me of Lolita Lempicka Masculin, but it's less aggressive and more versatile. Considering its price, it's just an incredible gift!!!

Sandalwood, vanilla, and resins - it's just a nightmare. The smell reminds me of someone setting off party poppers on New Year's. If you decide to buy it, keep in mind that the scent clearly has a trick to it. I don't recommend it if you don't want to suffer from this suffocating discomfort later
