Fred Hayman Touch With Love: History and Character

When Touch With Love was introduced under the wing of the legendary Fred Hayman brand in 2003, the perfume world stood still.

Released as an Eau de Parfum, this women's fragrance instantly won the hearts of those seeking something more than just a trail in a scent.

Touch With Love is a declaration of feelings, captured in a bottle.

The brand's founder, Fred Hayman, is the man who gave the world Fred Hayman and became synonymous with Beverly Hills luxury.

His philosophy—love of detail and a pursuit of perfection—is reflected in every note of this fragrance.

Touch With Love is an ode to tenderness and passion, enclosed in a woody-oriental composition.

The fragrance belongs to the Oriental and Woody families, making it an ideal choice for the colder months.

Its very strong trail leaves behind a captivating presence that is hard to ignore. This is a fragrance for women who are not afraid to be noticed.

How Touch With Love Unfolds

The Touch With Love fragrance pyramid is built on contrasts. In the top notes, it opens with a fresh green accord, lending the composition lightness and transparency.

Then oriental notes come into play—spicy and sensual, they envelop you in warmth. The base is a woody accord, which gives the fragrance depth and longevity.

This is not merely a blend of notes, but a symphony in which every accord finds its place.

Who It Suits and How to Wear It

Touch With Love is a fragrance for women who appreciate drama in perfumery. It is equally suited to a romantic date and a glamorous evening out.

Thanks to its very strong trail, do not apply it too generously—just a few sprays on the wrists and neck are enough.

If you enjoy fragrances such as By Kilian Flower of Immortality, Brocard Nimitz, or Surrati Perfumes Mukhallat Badar Al Dahbi, Touch With Love may become your next discovery.

Description of the composition

The composition of Fred Hayman Touch With Love perfume is built around a blend of three accords. The green accord brings freshness and transparency, like a spring breeze.

Then oriental notes unfold, adding warmth and spice. The base is formed by a woody accord, which lends longevity and depth.

Together, they create a multifaceted and memorable trail that evolves on the skin, growing brighter with every passing minute.

It is the perfect balance between natural freshness and sensual oriental opulence.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. The smell of roses is definitely present here, but it's kind of smeared, as if it's been diluted with something unclear. In the end, only an unpleasant woody aftertaste remains, which is grating on the ears. It's unclear why anyone would even do this! A rose without sourness might be good, but overall the feeling from the fragrance leaves much to be desired!!!

I remember this scent, it was as if it settled comfortably on me. It's incredibly innocent and pleasant, even though it smells like compote. I happily wore the bottle in summer, it became a part of me and my style. It reminds me a bit of Dior Sensuelle, although Dior has a more natural rose scent. But, honestly, sometimes it just feels like sweet nonsense

Rose, of course, isn't bad, but it's too cliché and simple. Its straightforwardness disappoints me, it lacks that playfulness I love so much. I'd add some vanilla or a hint of pepper to make the scent more interesting 🌹
