The composition of A Contre-Jour unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Galimard is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Floral, Fruit, Wood and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Ambery. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Floral and Fruit.

As soon as the fragrance opens you meet sweet-fresh fruity opening notes: Blackcurrant, Cyclamen, Hyacinth and Melon.

Galimard bottles look outdated, like something from an abandoned perfume shop 😅 The perfumes themselves are good, of course - fruity-floral, but with depth and lightness thanks to cedar. However, they're not quite up-to-date, lacking a modern rhythm, neither the lightness of unigender scents, nor heavy drama, nor a hint of sexuality. It's more of a classic fragrance that simply smells pleasantly of flowers 🌸 I gladly gave half the bottle to my friends, and the other half has been waiting for its moment for a special occasion for several years now. Maybe I'll wear it to a wedding or when I finally make it to Paris ✈️

The fragrance is really delicate and cozy, with a harmonious blend of fruits, flowers, and spices. It's sweetish and a little simple, but that's exactly what creates an atmosphere of joy. An excellent choice for summer, it feels like a light and pleasant trail
