Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Merveilleuse evolves as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Henry Jacques is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

In the top tier you sense sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot, Coriander and ylang-ylang.

When the opening settles you sense Clove, Jasmine and Rose carrying a cinnamon-nutmeg direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Opopanax, Patchouli and Vetiver, reinforcing a warm vetiver trail.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Whiteflower and Floral. The framework further includes Balsamic and Wood.

Taken together Merveilleuse sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.
