Description of the composition

The composition of No. 9 d'Igor evolves as a living composition, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Henry Jacques comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Floral, Wood, Powdery and Leather forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy, Cosmetic and Mineral expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

In the first seconds you catch glowing neon first notes: Aldehydes and Clove.

In the central layer you sense Iris, Jasmine and Lily of the Valley keeping a sensual jasmine direction. At drydown level the line is anchored through Amber, Leather accord and Patchouli, shaping a viscous balsamic trail.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Fairy, Spicy, Floral and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Balsamic, Leather and Wood.
