Description of the composition

The composition of Indigo is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Honore Payan is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Wood, Amber and Marine without random overlap. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Grapefruit and Marine accord. Exactly these 2 notes build a burst of citrus freshness that anchors the first impression immediately.

When the opening settles you notice Laurelia holding a cool herbal direction. At the foundation the composition is fixed through Ambergris and Patchouli, extending a deep amber trail.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Aquatic, Green and Ambery. The palette also extends to Wood.

Taken together Indigo holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged in wear.
