Description of the composition

The composition of Spes unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Hortus Peccatorum comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

From the first breath you sense incense warm opening notes: Aquatic accord, Benzoin, Frankincense and Guaiac wood. Exactly these 4 notes form enveloping resinous depth that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

The inner phases are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aquatic, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Additional accords such as Musc, Wood and Spicy add depth to the backdrop.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Mineral, Balsamic, Wood and Floral. It also reaches into Spicy, Gourmet, Musk and Whiteflower. At family level the fragrance belongs to Floral and Water.

Overall Spes holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced through real development.
