Fragrance information:

Immortelle black Incarna Parfums, launched in 2021, is officially considered a unisex fragrance, rooted in the east and balsamic families. The author of this composition is Natalia Vitkovskaya, and that explains a lot. By character, it falls into the green, animals, and wood groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of fruit and balsamic can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. In perfume extract — and that's all it takes to fall in love.

Expect a noticeable sillage — enough to be remembered, not enough to overwhelm. A light touch on clothing — 1-2 sprays — is all it takes. The longevity is high — this one will stay with you for the long haul. Country of origin — Russia. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Immortelle black unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Incarna Parfums comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a resinous voluminous mood: Almond, Ambergris, Cashmeran, Castoreum, Dried Fruits, Guaiac wood and Gurjun balsam.

The inner phases are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Aromatic and Gourmet without random overlap. Background accords such as Fruit, Musc, Wood and Amber add depth to the backdrop. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence High points to a sustained drydown presence.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Animals, Balsamic, Fruit and Green. The framework further includes Wood, Gourmet, Ambery and Musk.

Overall Immortelle black reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The fragrance is dense, leathery, and dark. It starts with an unexpected combination of bitter wormwood and tobacco with notes of prune, which gradually unfolds. In the background, there's a slightly dusty dry wood with amber, creating an atmosphere of wariness. It's like an ancient oak in the forest watching you intently, and you, captivated by its grandeur, gaze at its bronze crown and smell the bark. There's a slight hint of strong alcohol - imagine gentlemen having a picnic under the oak, pouring whiskey and enjoying cigars. Let them forget about fox hunting, because it's so cozy at the oak's roots, like in a favorite armchair by the fireplace. This scent reminds me of autumn, its darkest phase, when the air is thick with the anticipation of snow 🍂
