Fragrance information:

Night Jewel Jill Stuart, unveiled in 2009, is classified as a feminine fragrance, drawing from the floral family. Perfumer Alexis Dadier poured every ounce of mastery into this one. The fragrance is presented as eau de toilette.

The sillage is moderate — present, but never overpowering. The longevity of this fragrance is moderate — exactly what most occasions call for. Country of origin — the United States, and that already says something about the quality. Night Jewel Jill Stuart unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Night Jewel unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Jill Stuart is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports the depth and body this composition needs.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Drinks, Floral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Fruit, Gourmet, Wood and Musk.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot, Green Tea, Neroli and Tiare.

In the heart you notice Jasmine, Jasmine Sambac, Lily of the Valley, May rose and Rose holding a sensual jasmine direction.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc without random overlap. Background accords such as Wood and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

Taken together Night Jewel sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

These bottles, they just pull you into another world, so captivating. The fragrance, it's this sweet-tart kind of smell, leaving a gentle melancholy. I feel how tiara and tea notes intertwine, but the other scents seem to get lost on my skin, they just slip away 😔

Jasmine and rose tea. The scent is pleasant, sure, but way too light. The fragrance is airy, but not long-lasting, unfortunately
