Description of the composition

The composition of Black unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of John John is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Mineral, Citrus, Spicy and Balsamic. It also reaches into Wood, Floral, Gourmet and Musk. At family level the scent maps to East.

In the top tier you meet ozonic cool top notes: Aquatic accord, Bergamot and Cardamom. Exactly these 3 notes form a cool salty touch that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the middle phase you detect Frankincense, Patchouli and Rose holding a deep balsamic direction. At the foundation the line is anchored through Vanilla, Vetiver and musk, extending a deep cocoa-vanilla trail.
