Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Black is built as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of John Mac comes through in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Spicy, Aromatic, Floral and Green. The palette also extends to Wood.

In the first seconds you sense piquant warm first notes: Ginger, Mint and gillyflower.

At the core of development you notice Caraway, Lavender and Sage keeping a spicy-aromatic direction.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.
