Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Oud is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of Josh Lee Fragrances is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the notes arrive together with a architectural woody mood: Bergamot, Bitter Orange, Cedar, Clove, Hibiscus, Oud and Patchouli. In this case 7 notes act as one coherent layer, building clear woody framework that feels seamless.

The heart and base are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Wood and Spicy with each one in a clear role. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Wood, Spicy and Floral. The palette also extends to Gourmet. From a family perspective the composition sits in East and Wood.
