The Character and History of the Fragrance
Killer Oud Jubilant is a unisex fragrance launched in 2020 by Killer Oud, a perfume house from the UAE.
This eau de parfum has a distinctive spicy-woody character, created for those who enjoy rich compositions with a deep presence and pronounced projection.
The name Jubilant perfectly conveys the mood of the fragrance: its development is festive, warm and multifaceted.
Here, citrus freshness and juicy fruitiness meet smoky resins, spices, woods and musky nuances, gradually forming a dense oriental accord.
Development on the Skin
The composition opens with a striking contrast: orange and blackberry add juiciness to the opening, davana brings a green, herbal nuance, while coriander, frankincense and labdanum immediately set a spicy-balsamic direction.
As a result, the fragrance does not seem simply sweet or woody: the first minutes are filled with movement, warmth and a gentle smokiness.
In the heart, the spicy pattern becomes even richer.
Cinnamon, clove, celery seeds and bay leaf create a dry, piquant facet softened by honey, rose and orchid; guaiac wood adds a smoky, velvety depth to the composition.
Oud, Atlas cedar, patchouli and moss are especially prominent in the base.
Myrrh, opoponax, immortelle and labdanum intensify the resinous, balsamic character, while grey amber and musk make the dry-down full-bodied and long-lasting.
As it dries down, Jubilant becomes darker, woodier and more composed while retaining its spicy warmth.
Sillage and Wearability
Killer Oud Jubilant has very strong sillage, so it should be applied with care.
For a first introduction, 1–2 sprays on the skin are enough; on clothing, it is best to apply a minimal amount, especially if you will be indoors or in prolonged contact with fabric.
The composition will appeal to women and men who prefer rich oriental fragrances with character.
It performs best in cool weather, in the evening, at a formal occasion or whenever a noticeable and memorable fragrance presence is appropriate.
In hot weather, Jubilant may smell especially intense, so the dosage should be reduced.
