Fragrance information:

In 2024, the perfume house Lattafa Perfumes introduced Angham — a unisex composition that instantly won the hearts of fans of oriental and gourmand fragrances.

This elixir, released in eau de parfum concentration, promises not just a scent but a mood — sensual, mysterious, and incredibly long-lasting.

Olfactory Portrait

Angham is a contrasting story where spicy freshness meets velvety sweetness.

Its noticeable sillage and high longevity make it an ideal companion for evening events or cold seasons.

Just 2–3 sprays on skin or clothing are enough for the composition to reveal all its facets throughout the day.

Inspiration and Comparisons

In spirit, Angham is close to the iconic Chanel Allure Homme, but retains a unique oriental character.

If you appreciate fragrances that combine the playfulness of citrus, the spiciness of ginger, and the depth of a vanilla-amber base, this release definitely deserves your attention.

Description of the composition

The Angham pyramid is built on a bright contrast. The top notes greet with a sparkling duo of ginger and mandarin, seasoned with pink pepper.

The heart reveals an unexpected combination of cocoa, lavender, and praline, creating a gourmand-herbaceous accord.

The base envelops in a warm cloud of amber, vanilla, and musk, giving the composition a velvety depth and long-lasting sillage.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

A complex, cleverly assembled scent whose balance between fresh greenery and soft amber sweetness keeps changing. At the start there’s pink pepper, ginger and juicy mandarin. Then lavender appears, joined by warm amber and a little cocoa, creating a bitter chocolate nuance. It reminds me of Burberry Goddess, but to me Goddess is softer, denser and more feminine. Angham has less dessert-like sweetness, but more cool herbal freshness. A very high-quality unisex with a neat European character. The base contains musk, a little dry but not harsh. I don’t smell amberwood. I’ll gladly wear it to the office. Excellent longevity and projection
