Discover Lena Hoschek Loverose

If you are looking for a fragrance that breaks away from conventional floral compositions, Lena Hoschek Loverose is the one for you.

Launched in 2013, this women's fragrance from the Austrian brand Lena Hoschek immediately caught the attention of those who appreciate unconventional olfactory creations.

Belonging to the floral family, it avoids sweetness and lightness, offering a dark, intense, and even slightly dangerous character instead.

This is a fragrance for women who are not afraid to show their strength and passion.

Notes and development

The Loverose composition is built on unexpected contrasts. At its heart are velvety Rose and spicy Osmanthus, intertwined with powdery Iris and the freshness of Cyclamen.

The base notes add depth: resinous Labdanum and animalic Castoreum create a sensual trail, while unexpected Carrot lends an earthy nuance.

Magnolia and Orange Blossom soften the composition, giving it a playful touch.

Positioning and wearability

Loverose is positioned as a women's fragrance with a moderate sillage—noticeable but never overwhelming. Its eau de parfum concentration provides longevity of up to 6–8 hours.

It is an ideal choice for evening outings, dates, or cool days, with a dramatic yet elegant presence.

Thanks to its versatility, this fragrance is suitable for both everyday wear and special occasions.

Perfumer and inspiration

Loverose was created by renowned perfumer Valerie Garnuch Mentzel.

She drew inspiration from the latest clothing collection by Lena Hoschek, entitled “Russian Rose” and dedicated to the theme of the Russian rose.

That is why the queen of flowers takes center stage in the fragrance, surrounded by dark and spicy accents that make Loverose unique within its category.

Similar fragrances

If you have fallen in love with Loverose, consider these fragrances with a similar mood: Brocard Malachite Flower, with its green floral accent; Tom Ford Fleur de Portofino, with its Mediterranean chic; and Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers, with its bright, sunny mood.

These fragrances are united by their love of flowers, yet each reveals them in its own way. Official brand website: blackbaccaraoils.com.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

This perfume is the only one I know from this brand, and honestly, it's a shame I haven't encountered anything else. It's simply stunning, so rich and with a light earthy accent, and the iris gives it a special depth. There's something dark about it, yet at the same time very expressive and majestic, not at all in the spirit of modernity. To possess such beauty is one of those desires that always live in my perfumed soul ✨
