Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Cardamome & Embruns is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of L'Essence des Notes is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

As soon as the fragrance opens you catch sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot, Cardamom and Green Chord. Exactly these 3 notes build sunny vitality that is impossible to miss.

When the opening settles you detect Frankincense, Marine accord and Rosemary holding a resinous meditative direction.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood, Amber, Spicy and Marine add depth to the backdrop.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Green and Balsamic. It also reaches into Aquatic, Aromatic, Ambery and Wood. From a family perspective the scent maps to Fern and Water.

Overall Cardamome & Embruns holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This perfume is cold and aromatic, with a pronounced masculine freshness. It evokes associations with Bvlgari Aqua Marine, but here rosemary gives it a spicy green tint. The scent is quite persistent, and, in my opinion, it's not entirely suitable for daily use - it might quickly become boring
