Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Black Oud evolves as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Lonkoom Parfum is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Wood, Amber and Spicy with each one in a clear role. The profile is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

In the top tier you sense spicy sparkling opening notes: Cumin and Nutmeg.

In the middle phase you notice Labdanum and Oud carrying a amber-incense direction. At drydown level the line is anchored through Ambergris, Cedar, Sandalwood and Vanilla, extending a earthy woody-resinous trail.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Spicy, Balsamic, Wood and Ambery. The framework further includes Gourmet and Aquatic. From a family perspective the scent maps to Fern and Water.

Taken together Black Oud reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

You can grab it on AliExpress for 200 rubles, but honestly, it just grates on your nerves. The scent is like melted plastic, bitterness with a ton of sweet spices. And despite all its overwhelming strength, it doesn't feel synthetic, but that doesn't make it any better
