Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Vault is shaped as an expressive line of development, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Louis Cardin is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Aromatic, Aquatic, Abstract and Floral with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

Without strict stage separation the fragrance opens as a single chord with a mineral-marine mood: Aquatic accord, Floral Notes, Mint and Ozone.

The deeper layers are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Mineral, Floral, Aromatic and Gourmet. The palette also extends to Wood. From a family perspective the scent maps to East and Fern.

Overall Vault holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced through real development.
