The History and Identity of Love & Toast Persimmon Plum

Introducing Love & Toast Persimmon Plum, a cheerful and daring women’s fragrance from the American brand Love & Toast.

Founded in 2000 by visionary Margot, the brand has embodied a carefree spirit from day one, and Persimmon Plum fully reflects this philosophy.

This fragrance is for bold, discerning women with a strong character—those who are not afraid to be the center of attention.

Fragrance Pyramid and Development

The composition is built on contrasts: fresh citrus top notes give way to a spicy, sensual heart, while the base envelops the skin in warmth and depth.

The top notes—sparkling bergamot, tart juniper, and juicy lime—set an invigorating, energetic tone.

At the heart, the fragrance becomes more complex: bitter orange, spicy caraway and clove intertwine with delicate jasmine and warming nutmeg.

The base features velvety amber, smoky vetiver, and clean musk, creating a deep, long-lasting trail.

Positioning and Projection

This perfume is released in an eau de parfum concentration and has very strong projection—you are sure to be noticed.

An ideal choice for everyday daytime wear, it brings a feeling of freshness and confidence. Invigorating, sweet, and sensual—that is how Persimmon Plum is remembered.

The Perfumer and Similar Fragrances

The fragrance was created by the talented perfumer Margot Elena, whose love of natural ingredients and bold combinations can be felt in every note.

If you enjoy Persimmon Plum, explore similar compositions: Mancera Instant Crush, Vertus Narcos'is, and Amouroud Oud Tabac—they share the same sensual depth and vibrancy.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance I tried really reminds me of the one from Calzedonia with ginger. I used it for a long time, first a friend gave it to me, then I bought it myself. It's a very cozy scent with a tart freshness, unusual and memorable 🌟
