Description of the composition

The scent of NorOud is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Madhat Scents is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

In a unified mixed pyramid the opening appears as one connected movement with a expressively spicy mood: Apple, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Cedar, Hops, Oud and Star anise. In this case 7 notes sound as one voice, creating piquant dynamism that feels seamless.

The heart and base are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Fruit and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Fruit, Spicy, Wood and Green. It also reaches into Balsamic.

Overall NorOud holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best understood on skin.
