At the start, it surprises with a sweet bitterness. Plum clearly dominates, but this bitterness is a bit confusing. It's so dry, with a slight retro touch. I wonder, is that how papyrus smells? Or did iris suddenly become bitter? I can't figure it out. I want to try it on someone else, because I haven't seen mentions of bitterness in other reviews. But it quickly fades, and flowers take its place. I don't smell rose, but jasmine is simply magnificent! It's warm and enveloping, not cold at all, as I expected.
And then a sweet powder appears. Plum really gives the fragrance a certain maturity and decadent charm. Iris adds a powdery note; without it, the scent might seem too simple. This tart dryness, in my opinion, is due to papyrus. Although, perhaps I'm wrong, I don't know it that well.
The longevity is also excellent! The fragrance stays on hair and clothes until the very end. Its sillage is powerful, so you wouldn't wear it to the office. Definitely, this is a scent for autumn and winter. In summer, it could suffocate both the wearer and those around them
