Description of the composition

The composition of Infusion unfolds as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Marks and Spencer is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette supports the depth and body this composition needs.

From the first breath you meet delicate floral first note: Freesia. Exactly this 1 note shapes an elegant floral wave that anchors the first impression immediately.

When the opening settles you sense Gardenia and Orchid carrying a silky white floral direction. In the final layer the composition is fixed through Ambergris and Vanilla, shaping a viscous resinous trail.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Floral, Amber and Spicy without random overlap. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Floral, Whiteflower, Ambery and Gourmet. At family level the composition sits in Floral.

Overall Infusion reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The vanilla powder is simply magical! It's so soft and a little bit rough. No fruits are felt here, all the charm is concentrated on the sweet vanilla-floral scent 🌸
